CONSELHO DA EUROPA, ROMA, A DEBATER DIREITOS HUMANOS E LITERACIA EM SAÚDE

Em minha opinião, PORTUGAL É, SEM DÚVIDA, DOS MELHORES PAÍSES DA EUROPA NA LITERACIA EM SAUDE. Associamos, há muitos anos, as políticas públicas, onde temos o Plano Nacional de Literacia em Saúde e ciências do comportamento, com o Curso especializado de Literacia em saúde quem liderou desde 2012 (Ispa – Instituto Universitário ), com boa investigação das varias Escolas (Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa , ESCOLAS DO PORTO, COIMBRA, BRAGANÇA E OUTRAS, e depois nas práticas sustentadas, reais, efetivas e de grande valor, baseadas na evidência, no rigor da ciência com a Sociedade Portuguesa de Literacia em Saúde.

Os projetos da Sociedade Portuguesa de Literacia em Saúde implementados e estruturados em Portugal mostram bem as nossas boas práticas, que assentam com rigor e ciência na:

THIRD CONFERENCE HEALTH LITERACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS

I am proudly in this conference to listen and debate human rights and the power of health literacy as the open Door to increase competences within regulators, politicians, academics, professsionals, general public specially in vulnerable people, and to be part of this coalition in human rights and HL.

PORTUGAL ONE OF THE BEST COUNTRIES IN HL IN EUROPE

Portugal is im my opinion, one of the best countries in health literacy because we have already public policies, with:

a National Plan for HL and behavior change (Law since 2016 together with former minister Adalberto Campos Fernandes)
The post graduate course of Health literacy for health professionals (with me at Ispa – Instituto Universitário)
Research in several schools (Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública, Universidade Nova de Lisboa , Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and others)
Good practices based on evidence, scientific methods an health literacy methodologies structured.snd nationalwide with Sociedade Portuguesa de Literacia em Saúde working with prof Kristine Sørensen since the begining
The first MANUAL on HL for students and professionals (Pactor)
Partnerships with municipalities and patient associations (more than 60)
Plain language currently use in training and other techniques as teach back , chink & check, ask me3….

Great work , specially with the dynamic sinergic work of Lorenzo Montrasio and Lee Hibbard in Council of Europe.
